What is Home Deco Egypt?

Is the 1^st Egyptian exhibition specialized in all about home textile, houseware and interior design industries, Home Deco Egypt is an extension to the international “Homedeco” branded Exhibitions organized by the partner company “Turkel Fairs Org” formerly held in Russia and still being held in Kazakhstan for five years already. Homedeco brings together all new world trends about interiors from home textile, houseware to home accessories, arts, handcrafts, and many more and present here in Egypt for the first time in Cairo International Convention Center (CICC) from 3 – 6 December 2010, in the Gallery Hall.

Visitors can find a great variety of home decoration and accessories products presented by exhibitors from all around the world.

Why Egypt?

Occupying the northeast corner of the African continent, Egypt is bisected by the highly fertile Nile valley, where most economic activity takes place. Egypt's economy was highly centralized during the past 50 years.

Cairo from 2004 to 2008 aggressively pursued economic reforms to attract foreign investment and facilitate GDP growth. The global financial crisis has slowed, but not stopped, the reform efforts. The international economic downturn slowed Egypt's GDP growth to 4.7% in 2009, predominately affecting export-oriented sectors, including manufacturing and tourism, and Suez Canal revenues. Growth in domestic sectors, including energy, transportation, telecommunications, retail trade, and construction kept economic growth from falling further in 2009. The government announced three separate stimulus packages between the end of 2008 and the end of 2009 totaling $6.3 billion.

Egypt's GDP (purchasing power parity) is ranked as the 27th among the world as was recorded in 2009 with $ 471,200,000,000 to be the second biggest GDP after South Africa ($ 495,100,000,000) in the African Nation and the second in the Middle East after Saudi Arabia ($ 585,800,000,000).

Vision Fairs Company is a joint stock company established in 2005 in participation with Olympic Group. The company main idea is base on new thought in the field of local or international exhibits and conferences organization. For local conferences, the company has adopted a theory to begin exhibits and conferences of new thought not stereotyped or repeated.
